Muskogee, OK – Global Machine Company, a precision metal fabrication and machine shop, has announced the expansion of its Muskogee operations to increase production capacity and create new skilled jobs.
The company, which has operated in Muskogee since 2004, provides metal fabrication, CNC machining, and custom manufacturing services to industrial customers across the United States and international markets.
The expansion includes the construction of an additional facility and the installation of new equipment to support continued growth in fabrication and machining operations. The project is expected to create approximately 14 new jobs, including skilled welding positions.
“Global Machine’s expansion is a strong example of existing industry continuing to invest in Muskogee,” said Kimbra Scott, Executive Director of Port Muskogee. “That kind of confidence from companies reflects the strength of our workforce, our pro-business environment, and the many local partners working to support our industrial community.”
Port Muskogee worked in coordination with Global Machine Company and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce to support the company’s application for the Oklahoma Business Expansion Incentive Program (BEIP). Through the program, Global Machine was awarded $150,000 to support investment in workforce, equipment, and facility expansion.
“This expansion allows us to better meet customer demand and continue growing our capabilities in Muskogee,” said Richard Bennett, President of Global Machine Company. “The BEIP program is a helpful resource as we continue to grow our operations. We value the support from the State and our local partners.”
Global Machine’s expansion is the latest in a series of economic development announcements from companies choosing Muskogee, as Port Muskogee continues to work alongside state and local partners to support existing employers and drive corporate investment across the region.
