City of Muskogee

Muskogee is the perfect city in which to live, work and raise a family. As the regional trade and service center, Muskogee has experienced long-term stability as a manufacturing community, united with a surge in retail growth. Muskogee is the fifth-largest manufacturing community in Oklahoma.

Muskogee County

Muskogee County works in association with small communities as well as the City of Muskogee to ensure infrastructure projects are advanced in its 840 square miles. Currently the County partners with Port Muskogee on workforce and economic development initiatives for the more than 66,0000 residents who call the county home.

The City of Muskogee Foundation

With a mission to make a real difference, the City of Muskogee Foundation was established in 2008 to develop, improve and promote programs that help improve the quality of life of residents of Muskogee.

The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1922. The Chamber promotes business and community growth and is supported by membership & partnership investments and revenue-generating events that stay true to their mission.

The Greater Muskogee Manufacturers Alliance (GMMA) was created in July 2008, by manufacturers to have a forum specific to their industry.

GMMA provides an opportunity for area manufacturers to build their networks, learn from each other’s experiences, hear from subject matter experts, and deliver a unified voice for the local manufacturing community.

100% manufacturer driven, GMMA holds quarterly meetings with topics chosen by a consensus of the membership. Most meetings are held at member facilities and are followed by plant tours, allowing members to benchmark themselves and learn best practices.

Port staff support GMMA by coordinating meetings, identifying speakers, and facilitating communication for the group.
